The first record of cultural performance organized by the British Council in Cyprus was a reference to philharmonic concerts in 1943/44. Since then, many performances were organized with the largest one being the Urban Strawberry Lunch concert (photos) held in 2002.
Now, with the whole world under lockdown, the British Council has brought to your home performances from UK artists through the #CultureConnectsUs project. Other online projects include #FiveFilmsForFreedom short-film festival which has been running for five years, celebrating IDAHO.
