  • Abstract: This webinar will provide an overview of the Cambridge Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers, and A2 Flyers exams, including their format and key features. Participants will explore the assessment criteria for Reading and Writing and gain insights into effective teaching strategies, materials, and resources to support young learners. The session will be interactive, offering practical classroom activities to enhance students’ language skills and exam performance.

  • About the Trainer: Elena has a BA in English Language and Literature (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and an MA in Education Sciences: Educational Leadership and Administration (University of Nicosia). She is currently a PhD Candidate at the Department of English Studies of the University of Cyprus. Her area of research is related to Active Learning, Teaching and Assessment. She has been teaching English as a Foreign Language at various levels for 20 years, she has extensive experience with CEQ and she has been a teacher Trainer since 2018. Her area of expertise is teaching English as a Foreign Language through Active Learning techniques.

  • Abstract: This webinar will provide an in-depth review of the tasks in both A2 Key and B1 Preliminary exams, exploring effective strategies for preparing students at each level. Participants will examine the similarities between A2 Key and B1 Preliminary for Schools and discuss ways to support students in developing their skills effectively. The session will also cover the analysis of assessment criteria for both exams and include engaging, interactive classroom activities designed to motivate learners. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange ideas via chat and ask questions at the end.

  • About the Trainer: Dr Stella Zorpa is a highly experienced English Language teacher, lecturer, and teacher trainer specializing in IELTS and Cambridge English exams, including KEY and B1 Preliminary. With 26 years of teaching experience, she has worked with students of all ages, helping them master English, professional English, and business communication. Stella is also an expert in Educational Leadership, Multiple Intelligences, and Educational Program Coordination, bringing a dynamic and innovative approach to language learning and teacher training. 

>> Title: Building Confidence in B2 First for Schools Writing: Strategies and Activities for Success

He delivers popular teacher training workshops on Cambridge Qualifications worldwide. With a background in English Language and Literature, he has also contributed to the review of numerous ESL coursebooks.
