The British Council has been working with Cyprus since 1940. In 2020 we are marking this 80th anniversary with a series of events celebrating cultural relations and exchange between the UK and Cyprus. So, in the context of this year’s celebrations in Cyprus, the British High Commission and the British Council Cyprus present their second film festival, in collaboration with the Friends of Cinema Society.
This year we bring to you three films focusing on great British music! British Film Days 2020 are taking place on 10-12 January 2020 with a screening each day. Free entry for all screenings.
The screening of 'Rocketman' on the 10 January at Cine Studio, located within the University of Nicosia, marks the opening of the British film Days 2020.
Building on last year’s success, when we screened “Amy”, “Hitchcock” and “The Darkest Hour”, we hope to see many of you at the Cine Studio next weekend.
